I painted this little hillside from a composite of two photos: the land is from a picture of the Portuguese countryside I took during a bus ride and the trees photo was taken during a pontoon boat ride on Brookgreen Creek in Murrell's Inlet, South Carolina. I greyed out and lightened the trees to make them look distant.
