The Approaching Hour
Acrylic on Board, 12x12. This one is sort of borderline realism. Not abstract, but perhaps enhanced realism. The site was my parents' neighborhood in the Sandhills region of North Carolina, which has lots of towering pines. The water in the painting was actually a street!
